Holidays to Spain

Sun kissed beaches; favourable exchange rates and many affordable flights to Spain have made it a haven for holiday makers. With the majority of north European visitors regularly taking holidays to Spain as a break from their own colder climates, the Canaries and Balearic Islands main trade is now tourism. Lanzarote, Tenerife and Majorca have become synonymous with warm beer; and the dance clubs and beach parties have given Ibiza its reputation as a top clubbing destination. All of this is available in the best Spanish holiday deals. Nonetheless the Spanish Islands and mainland remain beautiful and enchanting, regardless of the effects of long-term tourism. The Ibiza beaches are still white sanded, with the azure waters gently lapping the shores.  Spanish history, architecture, lively festivals and a flair for flamboyance are all evident in the vibrant resorts calling out to be discovered.

The Mediterranean coastline offers hundreds of miles of Spanish beaches and the chance to get off the tourist route and explore the lesser-known areas of the country. Enriched with energetic cities and vivid festivals, Spain is diverse and offers a variety of opportunities for adventurous exploration and holiday relaxation. Madrid's museums boast the works of Picasso, Dalí, Goya, Velázquez and Gaudí. Pamplona's annual running of the bulls is a once in a lifetime experience where the streets are filled with the thunder of hooves and a rush of adrenaline. With six cities declared as Unesco World Heritage sites, Spain holds more heritage sites than any other country in the world.
